Local DJ's and Promoters
DJ Sarah Vain
DJ
Indianapolis
http://www.myspace.com/djsarahvain
Sarah Vain has been spinning in Indy for over 10 years, having started out as a promoter of bands as part of the promo duo Temporary Structures. After booking shows for the likes of Jello Biafra and Fugazi, Sarah decided to start DJing due to the lack of quality jams being spun by DJ’s in Indy. Starting out playing punk, indie, goth and retro at the Melody Inn and then Panic! at the Vault. After running some of Indy’s longest running indie dance nights, she went back to her roots and love for the dark side, cultivating a style all her own in the scene. She started Mutiny! in 2007 and now is taking some time off before seeking out new venues for dark dance nights (all ages as well!). She’s spun with the likes of Thrill Kill Kult, Cruxshadows, Voltaire, Bella Morte, Babyland, and so many goth and punk bands you can shake a stick at. SV helps to run IndyGoth.com and various promotional pages online for the scene as well.

She's released 6 CDs (including the first licensed industrial DJ mix) — all packed with the best industrial/synthpop/ebm jams available.
